Thank you to the readers of Snapshot. I hope you enjoyed reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it. And I hope you stay with me on my writing journey as I progress with other titles in the future.

I want to say a special thank you to my family, not only for supporting me through the amount of work that went into this book, but for also putting up with my mood swings and low moods when writers block kicked in and the rejection letters came through. I would have given up at the first hurdle if it wasn’t for your support and encouragement.

This thank you is a bit of a strange one, but crucial, because without these people I wouldn’t have had the time to push for the book to be edited, let alone published, so thank you to Yarwood Holmes Law Ltd. I was only with you for a short period of time, but I appreciate everything I was taught by SC, GR and KP. Even if I was told countless times “don’t say that to them though” (GR you really didn’t have to keep reminding me, I might have been a loose cannon with a lot of things I said around the office but I did have some tact). Thanks again guys!

HMP Northumberland is also an important mention, without my employment within this prison, I wouldn’t have gained an insight into the criminal mindset and the internal operations within the prison estate. Though there aren’t prison scenes in Snapshot, the experience has definitely helped shape some of the characters within these pages.

Finally, I want to thank Northumbria Police for all their hard work and dedication to keep our communities safe and bring perpetrators of crime to justice.
There is a real Middle Engine Lane Police Station situated at North Tyneside.

Where the locations are real, this book is a work of fiction and is not reflective in anyway of the locations or organisations within these chapters.
